I don’t like hand lotion. It’s either too perfumy or greasy.
I love to read. I have several favorite authors but I will always be loyal to author Lawrence Durrell.
I can not stand the volume turned up on the television. After awhile, manslaughter seems a viable solution.
I savor the smells of the seashore.
I make killer chili con carne and don’t like to eat any other chili, unless it’s New Mexican green chili stew.
I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico now living on Florida’s Gulf Coast. I miss New Mexico and green chili.
I love British television: British comedies, Dr. Who, and MI5.

I’m typing this with freshly-lotioned hands and with my kids in the background with their show (iPad, not TV) WAY too loud. Their bickering is too loud, too. Gotta go!

Thank You for the nomination. I will do my best to get to this over the weekend. I love lotion but it can only be Baby Magic or Johnson Baby lotion, I was attached to these two when I was in school. I still am attached to them. Sometimes the loud tv bothers me as well although I put on the surround sound radio when I am cleaning house and its loud.
My roommate is hard of hearing and won’t go to check out her hearing. Before I moved here I lived with a friend in Texas and she lost her hearing aids and added surround sound. It was so incredibly loud. Then I come here and I have the same issues. You can’t win. I just have to get her to the audiologist. Lucy
